Our Verdict
It might be possible to get away with just one month payment which would make this an ~$8 moneymaker. (My guess is cancelling after 8 days will be fine – it will keep the subscription through 30 days and trigger the Swagbucks credit.)

Hi, DoC Community! Would anyone know the answer to this…I have a CC that has $3 cash back on a Starz Subscription if I spend $3, BUT Starz current promo is $2.99 a month for the first 3 months! So WTF, does that mean I cannot get the $3 cash back since each month for the first 3 months of my sub will be $2.99 and the cash back on my CC requires a $3 spend for a sub? O_o This is a weird situation. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!

TY so much for your reply :D!!! On the payment page where I enter my credit card, it is only showing $2.99, so I’m guessing there is no tax unless if tax is shown on the next page. But it looks like once I enter my CC and hit the submit button, it will only be $2.99.
So funny how I do want to be taxed so that I can get it to $3 and get the $3 cash back from my CC! What’s FUNNY/WEIRD is that my CC Starz Deals page (with $3 cash back on purch of $3) is advertising the $3 a month for 3 months, but really it is $2.99, which makes me a penny short to get the $3 cash back, lmfao. WTF!

I think we have the same offer from our CC. Mine is Wells Fargo. It is SO SILLY how the current Starz deal is 2.99 but we have to spend $3 to get the $3 cash back. Like, did the guys who setup this CC deal give it some thought? O_o
