Swagbucks: Sign Up For Lifelock & Get 8,000 Swagbucks ($62 Money Maker)

Update 20/29/19: Offer is now 8,000 Swagbucks, making it a $62 money maker. Should be open to Android now as well, this offer might not show for everybody. Hat tip to reader Josh T

Update 9/25/19: Up to 7,500 now. Cost is $8.99 x 2, I believe, making it a $57 moneymaker. Updated the image below.

Update 9/19/19: Up to 6,373 now. Updated the image below. I think it’d be a $43.73 moneymaker now.

Update 9/15/19: Up to 5,000 Swagbucks now. This offer amount is the same for everyone now. I think it’ll be a $30 moneymaker now after the $20 cost. Updated the image below.

Update 9/7/19: Deal is back, this time for for 4,699 swagbucks. Hat tip to Rishabh

Update 5/11/19: Deal is back, this time for 4,200 Swagbucks.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Swagbucks is offering 4,699 Swagbucks (worth $46.99) when you sign up for Lifelock.

The Fine Print

  • If you cancel within 40 days they reserve the right to remove the SB
  • Swagbucks should credit within 7 days (seems to be instantly for most people)

Our Verdict

I think the app is iOS only, but not 100% sure about that. You’ll need to keep a membership for two months and that will cost a total of $20, so you’ll end up making $26.99 (update some are saying that the $9 option also works. Making it a $28.99 money maker). Some people have issues with tracking when it comes to Swagbucks, so might not be worth it for some. Make sure you cancel otherwise you’ll be charged $10 a month.

If you’re new to Swagbucks, please read our review. You can also get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

I think the lowest option works as well, which is $8 per month. I downloaded and subscribed to the lowest plan and still got rewarded with 4,000SB.

Any DP on SB crediting?

Where do you find this offer in swagbucks?

Discover Offers. I was able to snag some offers in the past week. Cashed out $75 yesterday.

I think this is YMMV. The offer showed up for me in my swagbucks “inbox” as expired as of yesterday. Searching for it gives no results

Not seeing it anymore in Discover.

I can’t find this in Swagbucks

Just saw this pop up on swagbucks again. 4,200 points. Will likely give it a shot tomorrow.

4,020 swagbucks credited instantly. Not sure why it wasn’t the full 4,200 submitted a ticket.

Support already credited the missing SB. Swagbucks support gets a bad rep but I’ve had good experiences so far.

Just completed same offer, had similar issue as Adam where it instantly granted the points but came through as 4,020 rather than 4,200. Ticket filed.

Also, what information other than your address that needs to be provided when doing the enrollment?
Do you need to install anything on your desktop or phone in order to complete the offer?

Ann

Lifelock enrollment? I’d expect they need to have your SSN and ask you identity verification questions.

Edit: Yep, found https://lifelock.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/81 :

” We will require the following information for each family member you wish to enroll:
Social Security number
Date of birth
Address
Credit card information
Phone numbers ”

But they don’t do the full verification questions thing unless you want access to credit reports/alerts and scores through Lifelock.

“The credit reports, scores, and credit monitoring features may require an additional verification process and credit services will be withheld until such process is complete.”

(Looks like the score they provide is just Equifax VantageScore 3.0, same as you can get on CreditKarma, if anyone’s curious.)

Did you sign up on computer or via phone? I never tried swagbucks offer on mobile yet.

Adam

It’s a mobile offer through Adgem.

I’d like to know what kind of personal information we need to provide to enroll? Is SSN required?

Found the offer on my desktop: https://www.swagbucks.com/offer?oid=12237

In the instructions of the email link it states

“To earn your 4200 SB:

Tap the link above from your iPhone or iPad.”

Anybody got their Swagbucks credited doing this offer using an Android phone (downloading the app and signing up via Google Play Store) ?

@Gadget reported that if you try it on Android you will eventually run into an error message that you’re not eligible for the offer.

Deal doesn’t appear to work for Android, even though it’s on the GooglePlay store…

Generally the less-frugal-minded, which is why they’re being targeted for this.

Most affluent and upwardly mobile people I know. (I use android, but just being honest here)

Gadget

William Charles I concur with Jeremy that it’s for IOS only. From SB, you can send the link to your e-mail regardless of the operating system, but e-mail specifically says “Tap the link below on your iPhone or iPad.”. Jay also reported that info.

When you click the link on Android or Windows the error says: Offer Unavailable You may not be eligible for this offer, may have already completed it, or the offer has expired.

The United and AA offers are still available and may be more valuable for some people.

I’d like to know whether there’s anyway to do this deal with Android?

James Bond

First time I have seen SBs post immediately. Usually have to submit a ticket.
