[Targeted, Canada] American Express Cards: Get $10 Statement Credit with $200 in Mobile Wallet Purchases

Update 2/1/21: Readers note this is being sent out on the Canadian Amex cards, not US Amex cards.

The Offer

Check your emails for the following offer from American Express:

  • Earn a $10 statement credit when you spend at least $200 in qualifying mobile wallet purchases.

‘Register your Card’ between February 1 and March 31, 2021. Once registered, spend at least $200 in qualifying purchases made with your registered Card using Amex Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay between February 1 and March 31, 2021 and earn a one-time $10 statement credit.

Our Verdict

Reader credit55 got this offer via email, we haven’t heard of it showing up in the AmEx Offers section. Also haven’t heard other reports of this offer, so it’s likely highly targeted.

Take advantage of this mobile wallet offer when you shop online, curbside or in-store when doing your essential shopping, and watch for more offers throughout the year that will help you get the most value out of your Cardmembership.

Chuck I apologize for the confusion, I mixed up my Canadian card with the US. Can confirm Joe’s comment.

This is a Canadian Amex Card offer – there’s also an offer of 3 additional points up to 1500 points total depending on the card type. Seen with membership rewards points and bonvoy points. But again, it’s a Canadian offer.

So, that’s like what… $7.75 USD right?
