I wasn’t even targeted for this offer, but rest assured that I am outraged on your behalf no matter what your stance is on whatever this well-intentioned but deeply misguided ruckus is about.

Jesus it’s a nice deal. I thought we are here to find nice deals, not racist crap.

Came for the comments, was not disappointed. 🤦‍♀️(or rather, completely disappointed).

Anyway…..I bought the Partake chocolate cookies variety pack. It was a great deal no matter how you slice it- 4 boxes of GF cookies for $6.31 (it did include the tax even tho it’s food for some reason). A great gift for my mom, she’s got celiac disease. Last year I got some cards from Aya Paper Co and they were also high quality.

Personally I’m happy they ran this deal again.

Thanks.

This offer is based on legal precedents going back a long time, Magna Carta, before then obviously, etc.
Let’s say someone wrongs you – hurts you, damages you personally, or even your stuff – you are entitled to recompense.
The aggrieved may be ok, look ok to you.. physically, mentally, financially, but that doesn’t mean they have been compensated, in part or at all.

Looking at the state of affairs in our US of A, do you feel the enslaved, “freed” in 1865, have been properly treated, compensated since then?

Do you feel it helps us as a country to make amends if you feel they were severely wronged in the past?
How should we as a country, as a group of citizens, acknowledge the past while providing a united-as-possible plan to try and move forward?

There is likely no perfect way to do so, and it will take a long time, but I think it’s in all our interests to make it happen.

White people KNOW how good they got their white priviledge, but how they hate it when anyone else gets any priviledges.

“When all you’ve known is privilege, equality feels like oppression.” I’m too lazy to look up the attribution, but this seems to perfectly summarize the outrage here.

Didn’t think a coupon would generate so many comments this early. Wow. Good morning I guess..

Creating a list of black-owned stores seems like the type of thing that pro-segregationists would do, definitely not progressive. The only people who would shop based on such a list are racist, try and twist it all you want but there is no other way to explain deciding where to shop based on the skin color of the owner. This is literally the type of stuff that the true civil-rights advocates fought against several decades ago.

They were wrong. Pretending inequities don’t exist by “not seeing color” doesn’t somehow make them disappear.
