Buy a few extra things to build in a buffer in case anything is out of stock.

I didn’t get targeted for this but realized I got 6% back on my last gift card purchase at a grocery store… I forgot that 6% back on groceries was per the calendar year and not per membership year for Blue Cash Preferred card… time to get $360 in bonus before PC to the no annual fee card.

I have a postcard offering $10 off $50 with code LA9ARAAC that I used with two accounts and two Amex Offers, so I saved $40 on groceries today. Don’t know if this code is nationwide or just for my local area, but give a shot and see if it works for you.

To make it clearer, I had two orders over $60. Take $10 off for the above coupon and charged more than $50 to the Amex card to get another $10 credit = $40 savings.

Thanks DoC!

How did you get Amex offer to load on 2 different cards?

My Amex card and my wife’s Amex card – so two separate cardholder accounts.

Now that I think about it, I have an AU on one of my brother’s Amex cards that has this deal too. I’ll try it once I need more groceries and see if I can triple dip.

grocery.walmart.com tells me “We’re not there yet”. I guess it’s only available if you live near a Walmart store (and maybe only some of the stores).

My store just got this option in like the last month so it’s still rolling out.

Not only stores, but that’s probably the most common and nearest.

I see two things locations marked “Employees Only” that appear to match up to walmart offices.

But yes, it appears to not be all walmarts, based on my list as well.

Anyone have experience with this? I’m thinking of getting some frozen items but I’m concerned that the time between being pulled from the shelves to being put in a cooler/freeze might lead to thawing/re-freezing? Not sure of Walmart’s process here.

I work at Walmart. Frozen items are kepted in a freezer. Cool items are kept in a cooler. Everything is stored properly until the customer arrives. No need to worry about things being thawed out. Walmart would be shutdown so fast if they allowed that

They have a staging area where they keep all the online orders, so I think they’d have to have coolers back there to keep everything cold.

When they bring the order out to you they give you a chance to look it over and you can reject any items you don’t want so if you get ice cream and it comes out melted, just reject it and they’ll adjust your invoice.
