Our Verdict

I got this on my Best Buy Visa and others did too. I got this same offer just a few months back; it’s the card that keeps on giving.

It’s basically 5% back anywhere, but rewards can only be used at Best Buy – it’s not cash. Still pretty good since these rewards can be used to buy third party gift cards too.

There’s also another targeted offer on the Best Buy credit card being sent out for 50 points per purchase.

Has anybody seen Amazon gift cards at Best Buy lately? My local stores used to have them but couldn’t find any this past week when I went to use up some BB rewards certs.

I would like to ask the same for VGC at best buy, I never ended up using my best buy amex offers because I couldn’t find any VGCs at 3 separate best buys…Never been an issue in the past. Just want to know if they were out of stock or if they got rid of them altogether. Anyone have any data points?

Probably others with BestBuy AMEX Offer cleaned it….a couple of week ago or so, the cashier told me there were like 5-8 group of people came & sweep the VISA. I asked her if they were using AMEX, and she said all were.

On another location far from where I live, there were VISAs.

And, I hate that people form a group to do MS…no discreteness what-so-ever.

Does this card ever have a sign up bonus?

Not sure if it does but my plan is to PC the two no 24 month AA cards I recently picked up to the Best Buy and Sears cards after a year since they both seem to have nice targeted offers pretty frequently.

I got an offer on my Prestige for a $50 statement credit after 2k spend today. Others on Reddit report a similar offer on Citi HHonors card.

I got the same.

Add an authorized user and spend $3000 before 3/31 for $50 credit.

You have to note that adding authorized user to prestige costs $50 🙁
