- Citi has sent out some lucrative spending offers to Citi Sears cardholders. Here are some of the offers seen:
- Earn 10x bonus ThankYou Points (up to a total of 10,000 points per month) on eligible purchases at travel of $700 or more ( hotels, rental cars, airfare, passenger railways, limousines and boat rentals, and as defined by the merchant) from 8/1/2018 to 9/30/2018
- Earn 10x bonus ThankYou Points (up to a total of 7,500/50,000 points) on eligible purchases online of $500/700 or more from 8/1/2018 to 9/30/2018
- Earn 5% back in a statement credit(up to a total statement credit of $50) when you spend $500 or more on ALL eligible purchases and use your Sears Mastercard® from 8/1/18 – 9/30/18

Our Verdict
Not as good as the deal from last month. But 10x on travel should still be useful for some readers. The 10x on online purchases should be a lot more useful for people. This card is very good due to these targeted spending offers and this is the reason this card is ranked #1 on our list of store cards. Feel free to share any other variations of this offer you received in the comments. If you don’t have the card currently you can sign up, but the only version available is one that earns SYWR. You can then product change that version to one that earns Citi TYP or cash back (TYP is best as it gets the most offers from what I’ve seen). If you don’t regularly get offers on this card then try putting some spend on it, that seems to trigger offers and usually after receiving your first offer you’ll want to put a lot of spend on the card and that will keep triggering new offers every month/quarter.
