Our Verdict
Seems to be 2% extra for Discover it Miles cardholders (4% total) or 3% for Discover it cardholders (4% total). Nice deal for those not trying to meet minimum spend requirements.
After reviewing my statement the 3% offer has stacked with the 5% for categories
“Activate to earn extra $10 Cashback Bonus when you spend $200 or more now through December 15th.* This is on top of the rewards you’re enjoying today!” Is this for ONE transaction which is $200 or more?
Maybe they offer the addition 2% for customers who don’t use the card regularly?

I srsly doubt Discover will be generous enough to offer this to me on top of the 12 month 0% APR they gave a few months back, but I’ll def keep my eyes on incoming spam.

Apparently I am the only person who wasn’t targeted? What bad luck 🙁 Just called a CSR and they said they do not have any other offers beyond the normal earning rates available to me at this time. Bummer…
Got an extra 2% for a max of $40 on my Discover It
I only got 2% on my It card. I did get a Miles card recently so maybe that is why it is only 2%.

Same here. I’ve only ever had a regular Discover It card and got 2% for up to $40 back.
