Still have yet to receive my bonus. I opened my account on the last day of the promotion during July. Submitted my application on July 14th, but my account wasn’t opened until the 18th. I confirmed with a rep the day I submitted my application that I would still be eligible for the promotion. I’ve called twice, and so far reps have just told me to wait a little longer. The last rep I talked to said I should call back on Friday if I still haven’t received it, and they would help me file a report to get the bonus.

I called today and the rep reached out via email to whoever sends their promos to their customers. Got the $200 promo a couple hours later.

Made a guess based on comments below and clicked through links on their site to apply (not via DoC link) and successfully manually applied code Fall23 (e.g. Summer23 errored out as expired). The promo code showed on submission page (no promo field is visible via DoC link). I received an internal message that the code had expired and asking if I wished to proceed. At the same time I received an ID verification email confirming they pull Equifax and ChexSystems (they asked me to unfreeze both though neither was frozen).

The code clearly had not expired and this is a Sunday, so they seem to be running some other check (address in service area?). I have a screenshot showing the accepted code so I could press the issue but probably will not since I’m several hours from any of their service areas.

I got that message too and got confused because I hadn’t read this post or the signup page carefully enough so didn’t even realize there even is a promo code attached. Messaged them back telling them as much and just linking them to the promo page being active and live offer open to all. Should be OK

Update: logged in to application center link they communicated to me through to find my app has been “canceled.”

Pretty sure I’m in the footprint. I’ll give it another go with latest promo code.

Also got another message asking for address confirmation in form of utility bill etc.,even though app shows as canceled

I got auto-cancelled after 1 day also, despite the message saying my app would cancel in 10 days if no action was taken.

I met the requirements but bonus was not credited. Messaged them and they told me “the offer wasn’t automatically applied.” Sent a screenshot of the offer page I went through but they still said no.

Although a c/s rep confirmed that there was a promo code attached to my account, I was later denied and told there was none.

I filed a complaint with the NCUA (Nat’l Credit Union Admin.) at the link below, CFPB will just forward your complaint to them. Also, I filed with the BBB too. Their boilerplate response was that they will resolve the issue with the customer.

In response to my NCUA complaint, I received a call from a manager who informed me that they applied the promo code to my account, that I met the requirements, and that the bonus would be added to my account in early October.
