Check your emails for the following offer on the U.S. Bank Smartly card and possibly other U.S. Bank cards (subject: Save up to $10 on Uber rides with your Bank Smartly Card) for Uber rides during NFL football season:
- On Sundays, claim the $10 offer in the Uber app to receive $10 off your next eligible ride. The $10 offer must be claimed and used on Sunday.
- Monday through Saturday, take an eligible Uber trip to see the $5 offer in the app. Claim the offer during your trip, and $5 off will automatically apply to your next eligible ride. The $5 offer expires 14 days after you claim it. Offers must be claimed and redeemed within the applicable offer period.
The Fine Print
- Offer valid September 13, 2026, through December 31, 2026 (promotion period).
- Eligible users may redeem each offer one time during the promotion period.
- No minimum trip spend required.
- Offers are valid on eligible Uber ride types in the U.S. when paid with a U.S. Bank Smartly™ Visa Signature® Card.

Our Verdict
This is not a statement credit offer, rather it’s apparently supposed to show up in your Uber app as a discount, provided you have the Smartly card saved in your Uber app.
I got this offer on my Smartly card, not sure if it was sent out to all Smartly cardholders or targeted. Not sure if other U.S. Bank cards got this as well.
