In order for the Sell button to not be greyed out, do you need to do the seller verification with TicketMaster?

Lulu

Seems not. I am verified and have sold tickets through Ticketmaster before. My sell button is also grayed out 🙁

Not sure why some people can sell and some of us cannot.

When I tried to fund via a credit card (Chase Ink Business) I got an error and was unable to do so. Has anyone else experienced this/figured out how to troubleshoot? Error: “Credit Card funding authorization failed: Transfer failed.”

Any update on getting the credit card funding through?

Nah. I haven’t been able to do it and the rep I spoke to wasn’t sure why. I haven’t tried a different credit card yet, as I’m trying to hit a signup bonus with this particular card. So I guess there’s a chance the issue is the credit card itself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Called Chase and they had flagged it as fraud since the account was new. Was able to take the security hold off and that did the trick.

Tickets received last night after my account was fully opened two days ago. My tickets are to the 12/21 Rams vs Saints game. Section 509.

Of note, the tickets are from Ticketmaster (obviously) and, as was mentioned in some other posts, there was a “Sell My Tickets” icon which I used to list the tickets. I listed them for $112 per ticket which I’m sure is too high, but I have till early/mid-December to sell them, so why not shoot high.

Overall, things worked as planned, which isn’t always the case in this game.

Just got my account opened after sending in photos of the back of my SS card, utility bills, etc. I’m now watching the LA Rams on Monday night football and rooting for them…in hopes that a 2-1 start against a decent Bengals team ups the resale ticket value for November/December games. Go Rams!

Knowing nothing about sportsball, what’s the rationale behind people getting Saints/Seahawks/Commanders etc. instead of Steelers tix now? Is it because it’s less than a month away? When would be the best suggested time to apply for the best tickets (resell value)?

The tickets appear to be based upon availability. As such, there’s no real benefit from attempting to “time the (ticket) market.” If you want tickets to attempt to resell (like me), you’re best off to apply and just hope for the best. Waiting too long may lead to no tickets being received.

Just my $0.02…which is hopefully more than the resale value of my tickets.

Agreed. Looks like you cannot time this one.

In past promos, you could expect to get the next available home game tickets within a certain window, allowing for time to get the account open/tickets to arrive.

Called to close this account today via phone, and they will force you to send the closure request in writing. Sent via SM while on the phone. CSR said to expect a reply back via SM to confirm the closure in 1-2 biz days.

I had been holding this account as part of my Upgrade Card account, and I never got around to closing it. Should have closed long ago. I plan to eventually churn it.
