Citizens checking push does not trigger DD requirement.

Evidently I must have done a double transfer out of Upgrade to Fidelity. Upgrade does not yet show a pending transfer which would put me into the negative. Fidelity tells me to call the bank. There does not seem to be any chat or phone number for Upgrade. I have no idea what will happen. 😀

There’s always the # on the back of your card. I’ve chatted w them. May depend on time of day or activity. I see the chat icon on the bottom right after clicking on one of my accts.

Also, if you have enough funds to xfer back to Upgrade, just do a wire to Upgrade. If you do a normal ACH, it’ll typically get there same day, depending on when you do it. The good thing is that Fid doesn’t charge you if you don’t actually have the funds in your Upgrade acct.

Applied 3/28, application pending
Approved 3/29
Fidelity push 4/3, tracker disappeared, received email that I’ve “unlocked benefits…”
$200 Bonus posted 4/5, email confirmation of bonus
I only opened checking, obviously bonus posted in checking

Very quick and easy bonus once approved. For some reason, they could not verify my identity the 3 or 4 times I tried applying in the past, but finally got approved a little over a month ago. The only trouble this time was that I had to call them to get my ID fully verified.
Here’s my full timeline:

2/29: account opened through swagbucks
3/4: $1001 pushed from Fidelity Bloom
3/8: $200 bonus posts
4/5: 12,000 swagbucks redeemable

I wonder why your SB was paid while ppl who tried stacking a few months ago didn’t get theirs. Mine are still pending after over 2 months. I’ve since done a real DD and am hoping that it’ll pay out. But, I doubt it.

I was surprised myself. I’ve tried stacking the SB points with a few bank bonuses in the past to no avail, so I was expecting the same this time. I just got lucky I guess.

I received my SB a few days ago too. Looks like I opened on 3/1. My “DD” was transfer from Fidelity.

Good to know. My original DD was also Fid, so I think that they changed something.

Possible it was just luck of the draw… someone actually did their job reviewing your account, and TJ got the rubber stamp.

I feel that way about Chex disputes. My P2 has better luck than I.

4/1 opened Upgrade Rewards Checking (with referral from P2)
4/3 push $1,001 from Fidelity CMA
4/5 $200 bonus (and $50 from P2 referral posted same day)

Easy $200 + $200 + $50 = $450 for P1 and P2

P1 and P2 got 120,000 SB pending, so referral + SB works 🙂

You mean 12,000 of course.

Following up on my 2/22 post below. I’ve tried opening an account again, including today, and still get the same error message.

No luck churning this. I received a closure email 1/22 (an email confirming closure of the account, not the initial one after you request closure).
I’ve tried opening a checking acct a few times since then (with my original email) and get a “We cannot open a second checking account” message each time.
Phone rep confirmed my account was closed but couldn’t provide any more details or advice.
I tried opening using a different email but they directed me to my original login. Second attempt with a new email was rejected after creating a new login.”

It seems the only way to close it is by calling in, is that correct?

Yes, I’m pretty sure I had to call in.

As others have mentioned, my $200 Checking bonus posted to my Premier Savings account. It hit yesterday, 3/28, 2 days after a push from Fidelity CMA. It’s listed as “Refer a Friend Reward,” but this transaction/description appears only in the Savings account, with no mention of it in the Checking, which seems odd to me.

Has anyone who only has a Checking account had their bonus post? Curious how it’s listed.

i have only checking and it posts as “Refer a Friend reward” $200.00

It’s listed the same in checking.

I opened checking and savings accounts for which me and referrer both got the checking account bonus. Obviously, I got mine in savings account. Now if the referrer closes the checking account, would it have any impact on mine or his savings account bonus?

The Checking account should have NO EFFECT on the Savings account.

If would shocking if actions of the other party AFTER you were approved for the account would affect you. However, nobody ever has received the Savings bonus before.

So, my checking bonus posted in savings account. Would it create any issues in getting savings bonus? Also, can I close the checking account now?

3/25: Applied for the checking account and was asked to upload DL. Uploaded the DL during the application process.
3/25: Account was approved and opened.
3/26: ACH Push from Fidelity CMA.
3/28: Bonus posted in savings account

Congratulations! You’ve received a $200.00 bonus paid to your Premier Savings account through our Premier Savings referral program.
