Yaarlo was a site that allowed you to earn cash back from shopping, buying gift cards and submitting receipts. A week ago a reader contacted us and asked us what was going on with the site as it wasn’t loading and all social media accounts had been deleted. I haven’t been able to find anything more out regarding the site, but if you were using it/had cashback owed then things certainly don’t look good. I’d assume that money is now lost and it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to get it back. There are alternatives to Yaarlo, for example:

Just today, I found an article mentioning Yaarlo and looked into signing up for it. I clicked on the “website” for it, and it tried to download a virus onto my computer. Luckily AVG blocked it, but just letting people know this is floating out there. There’s a company called Moola apps that’s advertising Yaarlo and other apps. I thought it was safe because the site started with https:, but apparently not.
I would be interested In a lawsuit as well. It’s crap! I had been saving it and was at over $50 when I couldn’t open the app anymore.
Just when I thought their app was actually improving they shut everything down.
Yaarlo sucks!! I was so close to cashing out too. Ughh!
What about the gift cards we purchased? I have a ihop gift card of $50 and can not get the numbers to use it.
For those that purchased additional value to cash out are especially due some compensation. I would seek it!
im glad i found this website because i just thought since i updated YAARLO, that my phone just was janky. it worked fine until the last update on my end. But im at 26.00 dollars and was trying to cash out before i updated and it kept tellin me that i needed to be at gold level so it took me about 4 months to just get to where i finally could cashout and this is the crap they pulled. crazy scam. before i even used Yaarlo, ive been using RECEIPT PAL and RECEIPT HOG. it pays out faster no bull behind it and you simply just snap a photo of the receipt. Ive been paid several times with them. they are legit been using them myself going on almost 2 yrs. wish i could get my little $25.00 owed from YAARLO though.. im wondering if a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT would do anything. its sad people gotta stoop so low just to get ahead.
also im wondering what was the point of them just taking all of our receipts, i hope they cant do anything with the info thats on there, or hope they cant turn all of them in on another site and them get paid. either way YAARLO SUCKS!!!!!!

I agree! How can we do that? I’m all for it. I did manage to cash out twice before. I was about $24 and some change in ready to cash out again.
I wonder if those tournament teams got paid or if that was the big swindle, very shady.
I had just a little over $20 saved up onYaarlo. I went to add receipts and that’s when I found it was no longer available. I went to my app store to see if I needed to update the app itself but seen it was removed from the App Store. There has been no explanation as to why they shut down. I am disappointed that I spent so much time uploading receipts for nothing.
I had 30 bucks on there that I had been saving up for when I moved. That’s really disappointing and unfair considering all the time I and others spend uploading receipts.
They shut down around 7/17. It started with the site not letting me load the cash back forwarding page. I would get an HTTP 504 error. I sent them a Facebook message which went unanswered.
The following day they emailed me all of the gift cards I had redeemed my cash back for and their Facebook page disappeared. I probably lost well over $100 in earnings that will wind up in the owner’s coffers.
