If any of the products purchased with the credit are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product, subject to applicable refund policies. Credit redeemed on a Kindle or Fire device will be applied to the Amazon.com account registered to the device.

Our Verdict

It should say if you’re eligible or not on the landing page. Discover also has the same offer currently as well. Don’t forget to stack this with other promotions, our complete guide to Amazon can be found here.

    Not eligible…

  4. MoreSun says:

    Not eligible.

  5. Ven says:

    Same as above

  6. Jason says:

Awesome – thanks, DOC! It was very easy and it worked for me.

  7. E Dantes says:

    Worked for me. Thanks!

  8. Helen says:

Worked on one of the account that I barely use on the first try, but won’t work on my main account with Prime. So I am wondering if it is account specific, vs, keep trying. Also, it didn’t work for the costco card , but worked for citi double cash, so guess no co-branded cards.

  9. Trinidad says:

It worked with the mobile steps! thanks!

  10. Keeks says:

Followed the steps on mobile and it worked! Thanks!

  11. MontyFC says:

Using the mobile option, I was able to see it in one attempt on my main prime account. However I was not able to reproduce it on the additional household account. Will try more using a phone that has not been used for amazon purchases at all.

If you see the ad again under your primary account, copy out the link and open it with incognito logged in as your secondary account. The unique pi code will make your secondary account eligible.
      Source: did this myself.

  12. Allison says:

Is it possible that you can only get this Citi or the similar Discovery “change your one-click” IF you already HAVE a card – and not the one in the offer – SELECTED as a 1-click payment? I have both Citi and Discover and have used both at times on Amazon, but the offer is not eligible for me for both and I have NO 1-click payment card in place? Alley

    • Chuck says:

I would venture to say the reverse: if you have a card with 1-click, Amazon might not target you with the offer. If you don’t, then Amazon teams up with Citi/Discover to get you onto the 1-click program.

It’s targeted so not surprising that it doesn’t work for everyone.

      • Yu says:

I am targeted and signed up. Do I really need to use Citi card to get the $10 off when checking out or am I able to use GC to pay?

  13. TJ says:

    Took advantage 2 weeks ago!

  14. mary w says:

I wasn’t eligible, however, the landing page says the offer is open until August 15th.

  15. directore says:

landing page of what? Amazon, Discover or what?

  16. directore says:

My dumb, did not that you posted that link in the original graphic banner form. My bad.

  17. Darvin Ray says:

I just got the offer today.
How long does it take for citi or amazon to credit back the $10?

    • farsighted99 says:

You have to buy something with the 1-click.. I assume it’s immediately. Though haven’t don’t mine yet.

      • farsighted99 says:

oh, and you have to buy something that Amazon sells. Be careful. Most things aren’t Amazon. Buy a gift card (but not Amazon or Visa), a book, music, etc. You know the drill.

  18. farsighted99 says:

One of our accounts (out of six) had the offer on the landing page, but none of the others. Tried the phone, didn’t work for any of them.

So far, we got 1 1-click deal
    1 $25 off $60
6 $10 off amazon payments (going to CVS, uploading to Amazon)

Can’t complain, it’s free money, but what a pain in the neck.

Rather they just did these things once a month then all at the same time.

  19. JJ says:

I was targeted for the offer, but I’m having a difficult time finding products that are eligible. What do people buy to get the promotion applied?
