Our Verdict
We suspected this deal would be coming. Previous best deal on this card has been 55,000 miles + $50 statement credit with the $95 annual fee waived. In this case you’re getting 20,000 more miles but also paying an additional $145 for those miles, which make this deal less attractive than it seems at first (although still better than the previous deal). If you’ve recently applied for this card with a smaller bonus, you should be able to get matched to this higher sign up bonus. (See this post where we wrote more about this.)
We think Chase’s 5/24 application rules now apply to this card, but we aren’t sure if semi targeted offers like this are included or not. Please share your data points in the comments. Also please read these 22 things everybody should know about Chase credit cards before applying or asking common questions in the comments.
