There were a couple of new credit card offers this week, the main one was that Capital One has increased the sign up bonus on their Venture card to 40k miles. This isn’t particularly exciting considering they do a credit pull on all three of your credit reports and there was a 50k offer earlier this year. There are also a number of credit unions that are offering $250 cash bonuses on their business cards.
We also did some more round up posts and let you know the best credit cards to use on: charity, drugstore, department store & telecommunication purchases. As well as a handy tip on how to get 4% cash back on all your purchases, irrespective of their category.
We also let you know about some $1,000 gift cards and $1,500 reloadable cards from MetaBank which some people might find useful for meeting minimum spend requirements. The downside is that you won’t be able to get any category bonus on these purchases.

Hello William,
Can I also know what blogs you subscribe to?
Thanks,
I follow a lot of blogs (I think at last count something like 300+). If you’re interested in it, I can great a list of blogs I’d recommend subscribing to?
Appreciate the shout out! We’re excited to join Saverocity. I’m hoping Are We There Yet can be a little different – at least, I’m not approaching with the primary focus on affiliate clicks, and I think the others will tell you the same. We’re trying to tell some stories, and hopefully people are interested in coming back to read them. If not, I’ll be the first to take a knee and let the professionals get back to it 🙂
You’re welcome. It’s good to see more and more blogs move away from the affiliate click focus. I’ve added all the new saverocity sites to my feedly feed, so I’m sure you’ll be yourself and others in this section again.
