This should also earn fuel points. If you use a credit card that earns at a high rate (e.g 5%) on grocery store purchases this would bring down the cost to $42.75 for $50 in eBay gift cards which is a total discount of 14.5%. You could use these gift cards for regular purchases, or wait until eBay is holding a gift card sale and purchase gift cards there for resell.
