[Expired] AmEx Offers: Get 30x On UPS Online Shipping Purchases (Limit 20,000 Membership Rewards Points)

Deal has ended, view more UPS deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Check your American Express points-earning cards for the following deal:

  • Earn 30 additional Membership Rewards points for each dollar spent on qualifying purchases made using your enrolled eligible Card online at ups.com/ship by 12/31/2024. Limit of 20,000 Membership Rewards points.

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid on shipments paid for online only at US website ups.com/ship.
  • Excludes The UPS Store®, UPS Access Point®, UPS Access Point Locker, UPS Drop Box® locations, and retail chains.

Our Verdict

Nice deal for online shipping purchases. I assume prices are the same when buying online versus in a UPS store, but I know really little about this; hopefully others can chime in.

My website (click my name) on the comment and hit the help button in the bottom right to create a support ticket. I don’t want to post contact info on here or link stuff without Doc’s permission.

There’s a potential stack. Amex Offer: Spend $50 or more at UPS and get $10 back. I also have a few FedEx offers.

Not if you already have negotiated rates with Fedex.

0/4 here. Sounds like a sweet deal at first, but I save about 40% off UPS rates using Pirate Ship instead of UPS direct for all my shipments at work (99% ups ground). YMMV though.

Do you have business pricing through UPS? I’m on the lowest tier and can usually match w/ direct pricing and on occasion beat them slightly. Only for UPS though.

Yeah, bottom tier here too. UPS pricing is much closer on our heavier stuff, but majority is <5 lbs and Pirate Ship crushes them there.

PirateShip is usually 40% cheaper and ebay shipping is closer to 50% cheaper. I do not have business pricing.

There’s typically a 40-45% promo code for UPS online shipping that would make this Amex offer worthwhile. I agree on using Pirateship in other situations.
