Our Verdict

Promo should be good through Prime day, but it does say first 40,000 only so might be a good idea to use it up before then. This deal works on third party gift cards, but presumably not Amazon or Visa gift cards. Samples gift cards available on Amazon:

Plenty of other deals to stack this with as well, read our full guide to saving money on Amazon by clicking here.

Interesting, this link/promo seems to be changing every day.
On P2 account, I got nothing yesterday from this link, but I got 10% off, max. $10 today.
However, this is a pass for me.

I don’t know why. All my amex transactions on new amazon accounts got declined recently, not matter if I used points or not. Anyone got the same problem?

I was able to apply the $50 off deal, but I am not able to select how many points to apply.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I see what you mean. In my payments options, it shows my Amex card and says you have 634 points available. When I select the card, the points option disappears. I have many different cards with pay-with-points options and this happened to all of them. What the heck?

I tried a different account and it didn’t have this issue.

I just received my first AmEx MR card, so I am not sure how to best increase my chances of being eligible for these offers. For those of you with multiple Amazon accounts, do you add the same AmEx card to each account? Or do you add separate AmEx MR cards to each separate Amazon account? Thanks in advance for your replies!

I don’t think anyone knows how to increase your chances. Just add the card and try the links. I personally use the same cards across 4 accounts.

Thank you for sharing these opportunities.

I used to get this offer on both a personal and a business account, but now neither is eligible. Keeps telling me no cards enrolled, but the same card that used to get the offers is still there.

Ive taken the card off and added it back on several times trying to get the offers to start showing up again, but no luck.

Finding products that are both sold by and shipped by Amazon is a pain, but I was able to eventually get $100 in the cart and get the $50.
