Does the Spotify gift card work for family?
Hell no.
When I tried a few years ago, no
Nope
Is this for both the visa and the store crefit card through synchrony?
Yes, I believe so
I think it’s out the back end on the credit card. Anybody know if this is a good way for Spotify, or is there cheaper alternative?
Just a fyi that Spotify Gc’s don’t work on certain plans:

Anyone get this to work, discount not showing in cart or at checkout.
It’s not a discount, it’s an additional 5% cash back in credit card rewards.
Yep. When I’ve done offers like this before, you can review your transaction-level rewards and see an extra line item for the extra cashback.
Also during checkout, there is an extra note before you hit submit that your item qualifies for additional rewards with the right card. You will not get it until your normal cashback posts.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I see it now.
