Our Verdict

The promo code deals are for electronic gift cards and usually don’t sell out. The physical gift card deals sell out faster.

All these deals could be interesting for use or gifting, a couple of them might be interesting from a resale perspective depending on your rates. Make sure you stack deals at Amazon to make this even better, we explain all the different options in some detail here. This includes using a credit card that earns up to 5% on Amazon purchases and taking advantage of the $30 off $60+ American Express deal.

  1. Amol says:

Nice, was able to even get a $4.99 Dash promo from one of the 99¢ promos to apply to the Lyft card, ended up getting it for $41 out of pocket.

  2. dax says:

your domino’s code is misspelled “PIZZZA10”

  3. Sharon McCoy says:

Unfortunatly, the $30 off $60+ American Express deal seems to be defunct. This is the message I received today

“Sorry we have reached maximum number of participation for this promotion” YMMV

    • David says:

I had that happen a few weeks ago and contacted Amazon chat. They gave me 30$ refund on my purchase

    • Pat says:

I just used that promo early this morning and it discounted $30 correctly. I paid with 1 MR point and used Amazon GC credit for the remainder.

  4. Peter says:

Good to see a 10% off deal on Lyft. I usually default to Uber because I get 10-20% off with GC, but if Uber is surging any Lyft is going to be cheaper, but I still feel like I want to use that Uber credit and sometimes make the wrong decision. Having a bit of Lyft credit should prevent that issue!

    • Austin says:

Uber has a lot of stacking opportunities (SYW, iBotta, discount gc), but I prefer to support Lyft, as a company. Hoping to see more discounted gc opportunities for Lyft in the future.

  5. stvr says:

Where do you see the physical sales for $40 as opposed to $45? Just a guess? For Petco probably a good guess… for StubHub not so sure

  6. Aaron says:

Thanks! Glad you put those affiliate links in there, so that we can help the website run

  7. Eric says:

Just saw this post, but still got the $5 off $50 Lyft gift card. Thanks, doc!

  8. Nat says:

Does Lyft treat gift cards as a promo, such that they don’t stack with other offers? I had a 10% off offer already on my account, so this might end up being less slick of a deal that I had hoped.

    • Austin says:

I can’t say for certain, but I think so. I just bought a Lyft GC from this promo, and you enter it into the “promo” tab, not the “payment” tab. And when I search for a ride, the price says “FREE – credit applied”. I imagine that this would not stack with targeted lyft promos

      • Peter says:

+1 does not work with promos. However I believe you can apply to your account and use, then if you get a promo later you can apply that promo and use that, then go back to the GC balance afterwards

  9. Abey says:

The Rover seems good since i use Rover for my dog
But there are only 3 reviews on the Rover buy $40 get $50 and all 3 say that you buy $40 and you only get $25 when redeemed.

In short Rover is buy $40 get $25 😳
Glad i read purchase reviews 👍

    • Spikey says:

Just received an email from Amazon regarding my Rover GC order:

We encountered a problem with the order and cannot activate the gift card(s) you received. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Because the gift card(s) cannot be activated, we’ve issued a refund for these gift card(s) in your order. Refunds are issued to the payment method used for the original purchase and typically process within 3 to 5 business days.

  10. Raven says:

I just tried to purchase the Domino’s gift card, but it’s coming out as expired for me.
