Our Verdict

Nice savings on Lowe’s. Lowe’s stores also carry a wide variety of third-party gift cards – I’ll try buying a $200 Amazon gift card, Visa gift card, or possibly another brand. (Despite the terms, this should work fine.) There are a number of good Amex Offers released now in honor of American Express member’s week.

This has expired, but there’s a new offer on Amex business cards for $50 back on $250, expiring 12/31/23.

I’m assuming no, but can this be used more than once with the same card? Multiple $200 purchases for multiple $50 credits?

I bought a $200 vgc at Lowe’s but didn’t receive Amex redemption email. Then I found the Low’s offer disappeared in my Amex account. Does anyone have same issue? Thanks!

I rarely get Amex emails anymore. Have you checked under the redeemed tab? Sometimes it shows there a day or two before credit posts.

Got it on BBP, nothing on Personal gold or BCE

I’m guessing GC should be bought in-store, not online for this to track?

It would appear so. lowesstore.wgiftcard.com is one of the exclusions in the fine print.

Bought $200 Amazon on family member’s card — bought $200 Exxon Mobil on mine since its the cheapest gas in my area (they had $25 BP/$25 Shell/$50 Exxon gas cards)

How many credit cards does Lowe’s allow in store for each transaction?

The self checkout only allows one; however, you might be able to get a cashier to do a split transaction but there is a pretty good chance they will ask for id if you do that and assuming your second card is an authorized user with a different name, they probably won’t allow it.

Was able to use 5 cards in one transaction at the return counter. They did indeed check ID but all the cards have my “business name” so no problems there.
