[Expired] [Update] AmEx Offers Business: Verizon, Spend $150 & Get $75 Back

Deal has ended, view more Verizon deals by clicking here.

Update 12/11/22: Reader Kevin notes that Verizon now has Airpods Pro 2 on sale for $199 which can stack nicely.

Update 12/6/22: The offer disappeared briefly for some and is now showing again (ht joghi)

Update 12/1/22: Deal is back and valid until 12/31/2022 (ht Jatan)

The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers on American Express business cards for the following deal:

  • Get a one-time $75 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Business Card to make a single purchase of $150 or more online at verizon.com/amexoffer by 12/31/2022

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only for Small Business Wireless transactions at US website verizon.com/amexoffer.
  • Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
  • Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
  • Please note if you purchase a plan, unless you notify the merchant that you want to pause, cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your plan will automatically renew for another plan period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example monthly, or annually). This means that the merchant will collect the then-applicable plan fee and any taxes by charging a credit card the merchant has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law.
  • Excludes FIOS internet plans and Enterprise and Government Services.

Our Verdict

The URL verizon.com/amexoffer brings you to a Verizon business page. Last time around, with a very similar offer, the offer credit was triggered by ordinary Verizon Wireless personal payments as well. Let us know if you try. Verizon allows overpayment of up to $500.

Another thing that worked last time was buying Verizon gift cards which should then work to pay your wireless bill or Fios bill, hopefully without affecting your autopay discount. Some people have had issues with Verizon gift cards in the past, tread at your own risk.

Anecdotally, this offer has been getting credited for accessory purchases as well, such as Airpods and the like.

I was sent an inactive $50 GC with my order. If I dispute the $50, will the $75 offer get clawed back?

This happened to me twice before. I reached out over chat and was given a credit for the GC amount. Took about 15-20 min.

Verizon credit or Amex credit? I’m not a Verizon customer and checked out as guest. When calling CS, it seems they don’t know how to handle a GC purchase if you’re not a Verizon customer

Verizon Credit.

Calling Verizon CS is awful. I would keep calling Verizon until you can find a rep that can help you. Or do a charge back, only thing is you may lose the the Amex credit.

Tried calling and spent about an hour after being transferred 10 times. Dispute through Amex it is, though it would suck to lose the $75 offer

What did everyone else’s charge post as? I just did a second order and it just posted as “Verizon” whereas my first offer that worked was “VERIZON WIRELESS N8320-01”.

So whats the summary here? If I want to preserve my Fios auto pay discount, I need to buy a GC first and then pay the bill with the GC, is that correct?

thanks

Verizon personal side has xbox s for $229, that would be a good deal with $75 off. Have purchases on the personal verizon site been posting?

How do you get to the AirPods from the Amex offer landing page? Do you have to navigate to the personal store from the amexoffer link?

Anyone feeling brave and willing to try purchasing a $100 Verizon gift card to see if it triggers the deal?

Whats the risk? You used your credit card for a Verizon GC. If you are a Verizon Mobile customer, you can use the GC to pay your bill.

VM Do you really lose auto pay discount that way? I thought as long as you are enrolled in auto pay, you should be ok. With TM, I have paid my full bill manually while bein enrolled in auto pay and it doesn effect anything

Anytime you make a payment with any cc other than vz card you will lose the discount for that month

I’m wondering the same thing about if the gift card will trigger the deal. it has worked before with purchases that were supposed to be on the Business Verizon site.

DAMU VM Can we then use the GC to pay the regular fios bill slowly over time. e.g. if my bill is 40 a month, I only pay 30 with GC and rest with auto pay

VM
VM (@guest_1514599)
December 19, 2022 19:46

You can split gc as much as you want but if you use cc to pay your bill in any month whatsoever your discount for that month is gone

Placed an order for some AirTags and a gift card as guest. Unable to check order status via web page using order details, and chat is unable to find order details either
