Avianca LifeMiles 145% Bonus On Purchased Points

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Avianca’s LifeMiles program is currently offering a bonus of 145% when you purchase miles. This brings the price down to 1.35¢ per point

The Fine Print

  • Limit of 200,000 in point purchases

Our Verdict

Avianca was just added as an American Express transfer. You can also get 60,000 miles through the Avianca cobranded credit card. You can also buy Avianca miles through a subscription service costing 1.39¢ per mile, this is a better deal than that. Personally I get enough miles through credit card sign up bonuses so I’d never purchase points at 1.35¢ but others might. I’d have a specific redemption in mind if purchasing points. Better than the recent bonus of up to 140%.

Same thing–been trying this for the last 2 months and it just doesn’t work. Any theories on what could be going on? (someone suggested using IE –that didn’t work for me)

I personally don’t have the card but I remembered reading about this issue last week. Try here https://www.doctorofcredit.com/avianca-lifemiles-credit-cards-40000-60000-miles-bonuses-one-purchase/#comment-661686 and go down to a post started October 22, 9:46pm by jiasus. Maybe that’s the issue.

oh wow thank you so much! I just did my free credit check with equifax and indeed the address was updated today… So it seems that checking my credit report on equifax updates the address I currently live on…

Where can I get that “discount”
of 140%? I think you meant bonus.
