Best Posts Last Week: $25 In Uber Credit For Existing Users, Credit Card Strategies & More

First of all, I’m finally back from my vacation and feeling very refreshed and inspired – so expect lots of catch up posts in the coming days followed by some good original content! Big thanks to Chuck, Sirtheta & Don for contributing to the site so much in my absence.

I shared credit card application strategies for 2017, I really only see two viable options and one is better than the other in my opinion. The increased American Express incognito mode offers are available again and American Express are also running a pilot program for corporate cardholders.

There was some good bank account bonus news this week with the Wells Fargo $250 bonus seemingly working for everybody. Sirtheta shared his experience with the HSBC bonus as well. MemoryBank are offering a 1.5% APY on balances up to $250,000, unfortunately it’s only for the first year.

At the moment there are two Uber promos to be aware of that work for existing users. You can get $15 by using Google maps and an additional $10 on Superbowl Sunday. Amazon also have $50 AMC giftcards for $40 and you can get up to 20% off Amazon if you’re having a baby, getting married or moving house.
