• Open a new checking account with FAST credit union and get a bonus of $100 when you complete the following requirements within 60 days of account opening:
  • Make 12 debit card transactions
  • Set up a direct deposit or an automatic payment from your account
  • Receive eStatements

The Fine Print

• Switch:FAST. Certain restrictions apply.
• Offer available through 10/31/17. Minimum to open is $25 (non-members will need to first open a savings account, minimum $25). To qualify, requirements listed above must be met & be new to FAST Credit Union. Transactions must post & settle in a calendar month, & $100 must be claimed, within 60 days of account being opened.
• ATM processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transaction
• s. If account is closed within 6 months of account opening, $100 will be deducted at account closing.
• Federally insured by NCUA.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Account must be kept open for six months to avoid the bonus being forfeit. They also have some accounts with no monthly fees to worry about.

Our Verdict

Seems like an OK bonus as no direct deposit is required and they have accounts with no monthly fee. Downside is that you must open in branch and we don’t know if it’s a hard/soft pull. I wont’ be adding this to the best deposit account sign up bonus page until we know more. Please share your datapoints in the comments below.
