I’m an outdoors nerd and *could’ve* seen this as useful (I only have gear for backpacking/kayaking, interested to try stuff like skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, bike touring, other stuff IDK) but the only places you can pick stuff up are located in CO, UT, VT, CA, and BC in Canada. This is, beyond useless?

I’m surprised TPG hasn’t already penned an article declaring this the best new credit card perk of 2022.

No wonder why they offered it all of their venture cards including the no fee one. Capital One is also getting into couponing like Amex and Chase.

Couponing? More like advertising. No one would have known what the hell this is without Cap1 doing advertising for them.

Bragging rights. That’s kind of the crowd they’re targeting

I can’t be the only one whose first thought was “what the hell is a Gravity Haus?” Their website is kinda vague too. “Gravity Haus is a community for the modern adventurer. We are a new model of globally conscious hospitality and experiential brands for those seeking a like-minded community to elevate their active lifestyle and personal growth.” Ok, that doesn’t tell us much.

Looks like the benefit of membership is limited hotel discounts in a few areas and free gear rentals (skiing, biking, etc), plus a some fitness classes and event access.

Millennials have more money now and love subscriptions/memberships that are premium. They also love adventure.

Hand us your money.

If you have the membership, you’re hip . . . you’re one of the beautiful people . . . you’re part of the in crowd who knows. And, if you don’t have the membership . . . well . . . you’re not.

Welcome my son . . . to the machine.

Bummer – I thought this was going to be an Amex like offer I could actually use. Still not going to pay $540 a year for this.

Seems Amex-inspired 🙂

As long as it is like an Amex Offer that doesnt add to the card fee, it is OK for now, but it can be a slippery slope.

$25 off per month any membership is the easiest way of looking at it. Still expensive.
