Some Chase cardholders have reported seeing a price match feature in their Chase Travel accounts. If you’re eligible a ‘Price Match Guarantee’ banner will show below the portal. Currently it’s only available to select Chase Sapphire Reserve personal & business accounts and on hotel bookings. To be eligible the following rules must be followed:
- Claim submitted within 24 hours
- Same property, dates, room type, bed type, number of guests, currency, cancellation policy, refund rules
- Claim must include: screenshot of price, website domain where seen
- Nightly difference must be $5 or more
Having price match is significant as the Reserve card comes with a $300 annual travel credit. It will be interesting to see if this gets rolled out to all Reserve cardholders and lower tier cards as well.
