Update 7/11/24: Deal is now publicly available at this link. Not yet available via referral links. A lot of people might prefer to sign up with a referral link anyway and ask for a match. Or wait until this hopefully comes to referral links.
- Update 7/8/24: We’re still waiting for the July 11th public launch. Some people are having success getting themselves targeted already now by logging into their Chase online account, go to the credit cards, choose Take Quiz option, and answer the questions: business, travel, flights. (ht NoWriting8386) A lot of people might prefer to sign up with a referral link.
- Update 7/4/24: Deal is already live in branch, via physical mailers, via preapproval, and via floating links (use those at your own risk). A report on Reddit indicates the public availability was pushed off until July 11th. (We still don’t know if this offer will ever become available via referral links, but I’d say there’s a good chance it will at some point become available.)
- Update 7/2/24: Offer now showing up in pre-approvals.

Our Verdict
We wrote about this offer a few weeks ago as a rumor, and it’s now been confirmed as already available in branch. Reports indicate it will become available online on July 3, 2024.
Over 3 years ago Chase increased the bonus offer on this card to 100,000 points, and now they’re running a in increase to 120,000 points (probably a time-limited offer). They’re keeping the lower $8,000 spend requirement which is nice.
The big question is whether referrals will update to the 120,000 offer. If that happens, this will be a historically amazing offer for someone in 2-player mode to get 160,000 Ultimate Reward points with a single signup and $8,000 of spend. Remember, referrals are paying out 40,000 points per approval until September 2024.
Another big question is whether (after publicly available) they’ll match those who signed up for the lower 100k offer. Lately they have been matching, and I think they chances are good. We’ll have to wait until July to find out.

Can’t get 120k or even 100k, only 90k available via link provided (tried in incognito mode as well)
The referral links don’t always have the best offer. But if you got through then, you can usually secure message to match them public links.
Any DP’s of SM’ing for match, but already having the card you were just approved for? I was approved for the 100k Preferred via 40k referral, and want to request the 120k match, but am a bit worried about them noticing my other card which I only got a year ago. Not the first time I have had 2X Ink at the same time, but it would be the first time requesting a match with 2.
I wouldn’t worry about that
If I meet the spending requirements within a month of signing up and get the bonus, can i downgrade and get the annual fee back?
I wouldn’t recommend that but you do you. I hate having the annual fee too but wouldn’t want to risk not getting other Ink bonuses if flagged, even if it was only a tiny risk.
true i have never done it, it’s been 4 years since i even applied for an ink card but was just curious. Thanks
I currently have 6 open Ink Biz cards, but want to try for this bonus. I don’t use most of them, and stupidly forgot to close some before the AF hit. My most recently opened ones are from 3/9/24 and 1/8/23.
What are my chances here? If I close the ones with an AF prior to applying for this one, do you think my chances would improve?
I would say your chances are not good. A lot of data points where people are getting turned down for new Ink cards if they have several already open. Including myself. But its such a good SUB, I would still try.
I tried applying about a week ago and was denied with my (not really legitimate) sole proprietorship business. I previously had an Ink Preferred card opened in July 2023 and closed in January 2024, plus an active Ink Cash card opened in November 2023.
The reasons cited were:
I tried reconsideration and it seemed like it might have been a close call, but the first bullet point was an issue. The representative was considering my total available credit on my credit report. I have over $200K total. I have only $40K with Chase spread over 8 cards at $5K each, including the Ink Cash card. I am probably going to reduce my limits on a bunch of non-Chase accounts, but it won’t help with this application.
Would it be worth calling again and further exaggerating my business?
An application is good for 30 days and you can ask for reconsideration multiple times. If you can reduce CL on Chase cards, maybe it is worth calling for recon again.
I’ll lower some of the limits on Chase cards that I would never use and try reconsideration again. Some of the others could see heavier use in the future where I’ll want a $5K limit (CSR, CFU, Chase Prime).
I’ll also wait for the Ink Unlimited offer to be available online and give some time for my credit report to update with lower balances. The Ink Preferred has a higher bonus, but the opportunity cost of the higher spend requirement, lower earnings rate, and annual fee only make it worth $200-400 depending on my valuation of UR points.
I had a Chase personal card opened in June. I assume if you were denied for having a Chase card opened in Nov of last year, that it wouldn’t work for me either?
Even with the ‘1 card bonus per 24 month’ rule, people have still received multiple bonuses on the same ink card within a 24 month period.
Is that right?
Yes
Is it too late to refer someone? Prior referrals had to wait for the card to arrival to create an account. So they could secure message the match. If they got the card during the 120k promotion, but didn’t get it till after sept 4th, would they be out of luck?
If anyone interested in splitting the referral bonus 50% pls lemme know replying this comment and then sending email to bobotheodore (at] gma I L thx!

Just instant approved with $6,000 limit. 4/24 and low 800’s score. Applied as SP with new business and $1,000 annual business income. No recent Chase business cards, just 2 personal cards that I barely use.
Care to explain “SP with new business”- what exact details you provided in the application? Did you have to register somewhere for business profile? Thanks
