Update 5/12/23: Chase affiliates were told the 80k offer is ending soon
Update 4/20/23: Offer is now publicly available on the Chase website. (That should make it easier to get a match if you recently signed up at a lower offer.) Please don’t use the public link and instead use a reader’s referral link.

Our Verdict
This referral offer is better than the public online offer of 60,000 points. You can get 90,000 points for signing up in branch currently, though that offer does require an extra $2,000 in spend ($6,000 total spend). Some people in 2-player mode will prefer the 80,000 offer since the referrer will also get their 15,000 points bonus for a total 95,000 in bonuses. Just keep in mind the tax angle: you might get a 1099 on referrer earnings whereas on a signup bonus you won’t.
We did once see 100,000 points offer, but this new offer is probably as good as is worth holding out for. The old referral links redirect to the 80,000. As far as I know that referrer signup would track; it can’t hurt to just generate a new referral link.
If you recently applied for a lower bonus, you should be able to message them and get a match as they are reportedly matching this bonus.
It’s possible that 80k will become the new public offer soon. Regardless, it only helps someone else to use a referral link and you don’t lose anything. We’ll add this to our List of Best Credit Card Signup Bonus Offers.
If your friend does not have a referral link, please use a reader’s referral link on this page to help out a fellow reader, you’ll make someone very happy. 🙂 Feel free to share your links there as well, though we’ll be closing the comments section there after a short time to keep it manageable.

Any thoughts on this coming back soon? Want to get another chase UR card but don’t want to miss out on 20k points
DP: April 1/24 due 0/24 in July
Applied for Citi Rewards+ – End of May – Instant Approved – 3.5k
Applied for CFU and CFF – End of May – Instant Approved – 8.5k & 9k
Applied for CSP – May 30th – Instant Denial because of Chase 2/30

Applied for Delta Biz Gold – Instant Approved – 10k (Only applied because the CSP 80k link was dead)
80k gets resurrected like Jesus
Applied for CSP July 17th – Instant Denial – 2 reasons:
1. Too many hard inquiries in a short time. (5 in about 2 months)
2. Chase was already giving me ~45% of my yearly income
Called recon, was given the runaround until I asked “Can I get it reconsidered?”, transferred to recon department, recon asked why I wanted the card,
1. DoorDash DashPass for 1 year with CSP instead of 3 months with the current Freedom cards I have – Not BS
2. I was going to make Chase the “base of my financial operations” because I was impressed with their app – Half BS
3. I wanted a no FTF card for my “end of summer travels” – Complete BS, I’m too poor to travel
Asked me if I’d be willing to move credit from other cards to new CSP, I said “I don’t mind either way”.
Asked – What credit limit am I looking for? I said “around 10k, but if that’s not possible, cool”
Approval email came in while on the line. Approved for 5k (minimum for a Visa Signature) Shows 80k bonus points.
I was super into CCs before Covid, kinda forgot they existed until 2 months ago, lmk what you think of my “Credit Card Strategy”.

Both direct links stopped working, says offer no longer available, is it still working for anyone?
