Note that they will probably repeat this deal during Christmas to New Year’s as has been the case in the past.

Ugh I have been so good about laying off the sugar during the pandemic but Cheesecake Factory Oreo cheesecake with its approximately 1600 calories and 150 grams of sugar is pretty amazing stuff. Must resist.

but what I’m wondering is are their cheesecakes any good. Are they underrated, overrated and does the cost live up to the hype ?

The cheesecakes are good, even if the rest of it is kinda like an upscale olive garden, the cheesecakes are legit.

Yikes.

That might be a pass for me then lol.

I can get 3 full size pastries to myself from a local bakery for 10 bucks.

While it is expensive, a slice of cheesecake from there is a couple desserts worth. They are very large and very rich.

The average slice is about 1000 calories, so you get your money’s worth.

Will not work at most restaurants. Last year, the cashiers at many restaurants were trained not to allow GCs to be purchased with Happy Cards. Register will allow it, but unfortunately the cashier has to swipe the card for the GC purchase, so you are at their mercy.

I did this once. Someone else was able to redeem one of my free cheesecake certificates somehow. It was quite the disappointment.

Were yours digital or physical cards?

Trevor
Trevor (@guest_1096334)
November 23, 2020 15:57

Mine were digital, so I printed on paper. My hunch is that since the free slice certificate is actually a “gift card” without a PIN and because they allow writing the “gift card number” on the check for redemption, either someone innocently mis-wrote a number or someone figured out that these certificate numbers were being generated in a predictable pattern.
