Home Depot: Complete Online Workshop & Get 15% Off Next Online Order

Update 8/14/20: Added fine print. Hat tip to manageroftheyear

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Home Depot is offering 15% off your next online order when you complete an online workshop

The Fine Print

  • Maximum discount of $200
  • This offer cannot be combined with any other discount, offer, promotion or special incentive program and is not valid on purchases from any The Home Depot affiliate store. Offer is not valid for payment on any The Home Depot credit account. No credit if offer refused.
  • Valid until (varies based on the workshop you attended)

Our Verdict

Better than the 11% rebate normally offered. Hard to know how good this deal is without knowing the exclusions and maximum discount, but this could be very useful for some people.

I’d also be grateful for one of these coupon codes if anyone has one expiring that they can’t use. I can’t seem to get registered for a workshop this week or next, and two weeks from now the workshop descriptions don’t say that they’ll send you the 15% off code (I registered anyway, though).

Anyway, a huge thanks if someone has a code they can share – or if anyone has tips on getting into a workshop that offers the 15% code soon. Thanks!

for anyone interested.. I was unable to enter a workshop but I needed to buy a water heater, so I found this site called treasure coupons and managed to buy one.

If anyone has one of these they won’t use before expiration I could really use it in the next couple days. I have a workshop scheduled for later this month that I would trade the coupon for yours.

Ccoup38 AT Gmail if you’re interested in the trade!

coupon is kinda worthless unless you have something you need right now, expires 3 days after I got it, max purchase $200, online only, can’t be used on gift cards.

No sign of coupon after over 65 hours since attending session. Sent out an email this morning to [email protected] and no response yet after 5 hours. I no longer have faith these coupons will ever be sent out. Not planning on attending any of their sessions anymore. Just watching You tube videos should help.

Anyone receive the coupon ever? I attended the entire workshop, entered my email at the end, got an email thanking me for attending, but no coupon.

I attended three (how totally useless was every one… “there are round and oval toilets” ok!). I got 2 of the 3 coupons, each within a day of the workshop.

Update: I got it 3 days after the event but it was the 1st business after the event. Expiration is in 6 days.

Just sat through 48 minutes of the outdoor workshop and Adobe kicked me out of the room for some reason. No way to enter my email at the end. I sent an email about being kicked, but we shall see. Hopefully they track emails from when you enter the “room,” but the guy did say at the beginning that you need to enter your email AT THE END to get your coupon. Pretty pissed that I just spend 48 minutes listening to this if I get no coupon out of it.

who did you send your email to? I had the same experience. Listened and even posted some question, but at about 50 mins, i was booted out and they denied re-entry.

I e-mailed [email protected], which was listed on the automated Google calendar entry, and didn’t bounce after a few minutes of being sent. My 3rd business day is today (workshop was Saturday before labor day). Figured I’d grease the squeaky wheels.

Received reply a few hours after: “Thanks for reaching out. This process typically takes at least 24-48 hours. However, because this was a holiday weekend we may experience delays. Our marketing team is working diligently to get these out as soon as possible. Hope this helps. Thanks!”

So if it has been a few days since you did the workshop and no coupon yet, reach back out to them at [email protected]

Got no response to emails or tweets. Attended a second workshop today and asked in the Q&A box. Got a coupon emailed to me almost right away — expiration 10/30. And I also got the coupon for today’s workshop a couple of hours ago, so about 8 hours after the event. That one expires in two effing days. This thing is messed up.

For those that have done this, were you able to attend via mobile device? i.e. Android cell phone?
How long did the coupon take to arrive after the workshop?

I am attending right now via Android because I could not get it to load on my Chromebook.

Android tablet. When you start, it will ask you whether you want to attend via browswer or log into adobe connect application. Just a heads up during the live presentation. if you post a question and the moderator sends you a link to a home depot product page, open it in a new tab (right click). i clicked (regular click) on the link and it booted me out of the live workshop page and I had to reconnect /ask to be let in again.
