When creating an account, do you still get the bonus if you forget to put “Check out my gift” in the referral section per the requirements? I only noticed that after my account was made.

i would either send them a secure message while logged into your account, or give them a call to confirm the bonus was attached to your application.

I applied on 7/12/25 (I used the promo code) and on about 7/24/25 I received a welcome email from QCBT that mentioned how to qualify for the bonus.

If I remember correctly, I had to call the bank to request a debit card be sent to me.

When opening a checking account it says “Accounts closed within 90 days will be charged $25.00”.

Not all counties available in Illinois.

My Chicago address is not supported in their service area.

It’s more restrictive than being an IL resident. I was denied mid-application for being outside of their service area. I am an IL resident near Chicago.
