Our Verdict
You do need to shop $25 and to keep the browser button for 30 days, but pretty easy deal to take part in.

Does anyone know what happens/does it work if you install the Alaska and United browser add on?

easiest way to churn? any gift card or (semi) cash equivalent? thanks..
…
These are the terms I got from the email from Alaska:
1- successfully install the Mileage Plan™ Shopping button (browser requirements detailed on button page) and use the button to spend $25 or more in qualifying purchases during the Bonus Period
OK, fine but the button has never been successful in tracking orders in the past for me.
2-members must also keep the button installed for a minimum of 30 days after the end of the Bonus Period
No, thanks. I like to disable it when I’m not using it so my activities are not being tracked.
3-must not have installed the button previously before the Bonus Period.
I’ve previously installed it.
I’d only install it temporarily in a VM that I could subsequently roll back to a clean snapshot.
Just use Firefox moving forward.
I found if you’ve earned similar bonus before, the offer banner doesn’t show up.
Only works on Chrome
Were these bonus terms sent via email to users? I didn’t see mention of on the respective pages
Your links bring me to pages that do not mention the offer, even in Google Chrome
“ Get the Delta Airlines shopping portal browser extension and get 500 bonus Alaska miles if you shop $25 through the button by March 12.”
That seems very unlikely to be correct 😉
Fixed, thanks
