The GoT tv show has diverged from and surpassed (in timeline, not quality) the books since about season 4, so I don’t think there are any spoilers left.

FYI DOC — California has a law that comes into effect in 2020 that will let consumers sue companies over data breaches. They are currently trying to expand the law to allow lawsuits over any data misuse. Depending on how that plays out, it could set the stage for a national law as well. Sure 2020 is a long way out but it’s a step in the direction of holding companies accountable.
