Update 8/4/22: Sam’s sent out an email with an offer to switch from the Uber voucher to a different Dining voucher, with “dining discounts up to 50% off”. I’m skeptical on whether these dining vouchers are really worth much, maybe someone who knows more will chime in below.

- Non-Transferrable.
- Limit (1) reward per Customer, per email address.
- You must be 18 years or older to purchase a membership and membership is subject to qualifications.
- Membership cards are nontransferable and are valid at all Sam’s Club locations worldwide.
- Walmart and Sam’s Club associates are not eligible for the offer.
- Primary memberships are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Like everybody else, I had problems with my voucher this month, first with the early expiration date, and then the voucher not working. I complained, and received an email this morning saying “The voucher issue has been resolved.” I haven’t actually tried it yet, but it’s encouraging that they at least admit there was an issue. Keeping my fingers crossed, and waiting for the next Uber Eats discount offer…
In case anybody cares, the voucher worked just fine last night.
I have two things to report to anyone getting errors when using this voucher.
First, I tried to call an Uber (ride) and kept getting rejected for improper payment method. The voucher seems to be causing Uber accounts to lock up. I called Uber support and the best thing they could do was to create a new account with a $10 credit pre-loaded to it. This solved the ordering (Uber ride) issue.
Second, I tried using the voucher in the now old account. Still get the same error. I go over to Uber Eats. Same error. I schedule a pick-up order without the voucher and the order goes through. I update the order to update the payment method to take the voucher and it goes through. Voucher is used up and I get my credits.
I end up with 2 Uber accounts, where one has $10 preloaded. Not worth the stress of having to deal with Uber support but maybe it’s worth it for someone else. Also, this is the only way I found to get rid of the voucher so it doesn’t block your other payments from going through.

I had the same issue with my voucher. I got a response from support:
“I know that these errors are very frustrating. We have been working with Uber to address the issues you are currently experiencing.
Rest assured that we are working tirelessly to resolve this matter as expeditiously as possible. We will reach out to you as soon as we have an update or resolution.”
I never heard back from support that they fixed it, but tried tonight on an UberEats order and the voucher worked!
Tried using the voucher today for delivery and just like everyone had voucher declined. What’s worse is that Uber took the remaining balance off of my Ubercash! Has this happened to anyone? Lost $44 in my Ubercash account
yep, same thing happened to me. removing the voucher and completing the order worked, it didn’t double-deduct from my uber cash. i’m done with uber cash after this
I received the voucher Aug. 5, tried to use today for an uber ride. Not working, saying payment declined, change payment method.
I’ve used the vouchers for Uber Eats pickup orders every month since November. I tried placing an order with the voucher yesterday and it kept saying the voucher payment has a problem. I looked at the terms of the voucher and it states that it *may exclude pickup orders on Uber Eats. Has this language always been there? I’m hoping this is just an issue with the voucher itself and not because they changed the voucher terms to exclude pickup orders.

Mine was set to expire on Aug 8th when I got it but today it shows expiration date at Aug 31st. However I encounter an error whenever I try to apply it in Uber Eats saying voucher payment has a problem.

Same thing here, really wish I had used the voucher right when it was issued. They’re clearly playing games here- first issuing the vouchers late and now randomly shutting them off so there’s way less time for people to actually use them
