Having never purchased these types of these cards I have a few questions. Sorry in advance for the newb questions. I mostly use credit cards for everything and none of my credit cards have office supply store rates apart from the Chase % offer.

Can these Visa/MasterCard gift cards be used for online purchases? Added to a mobile wallet like Samsung pay or Google pay to be used on my phone in store? Do these cards run as credit cards or debit cards? I currently don’t have any debit cards, only credit cards. A gas station by me only accepts debit cards so I was just want to be sure. What happens if the card does not have a sufficient amount for the balance to cover the whole charge total? Does the cash register/website know to ask me for another form of payment to cover the difference? What if this scenario is used online/in-store/mobile app to pay for something such as food?

I was wondering the same thing. I cannot figure out how to use it in-store because the PayPal Key cannot be added to my Samsung Pay wallet or other mobile wallets, so I don’t know how else to use it. I only found articles that mention that the card can only be used online and not in stores.

How are you running out of ideas? The beauty of PPK is that you can use it to buy literally anything online that accepts Mastercard and it counts toward the PayPal category bonus.

If you have an SBA Lan this is a great way to liquidate these cards, since they are considered a debit card. I have liquidated closed to $12,000 to pay down my loans.

Everything that I’m seeing says these have some significant non-zero interest rates. I’m confused on how this works?
