I would recommend skip dropbox entirely and use sync.com instead. Cheaper, more secure.
Easier said than done for some people. When your clients use Dropbox, you use Dropbox 🙂
My Dropbox subscription renews annually in August. Does anyone know a way I can take advantage of this deal before it expires? (e.g. possible to pre-pay for next year)
You can upgrade to a higher plan and it will charge you now for the difference in price (if you want it). If you call a month later to downgrade, YMMV on whether you will get the credit applied for the lower plan rate, or whether they will say it will be effective at your next renewal date. They do seem to offer this about half of the year.
