TCB sent me an offer of $30, with an option to accept offer and close the missing cashback claim.
this came 215 days after the original order date. i don’t even remember the intended cashback amount so i’ll accept this $30 offer..

Same, got that exact offer from TCB. Going to accept as I don’t remember too. Had counted it as a loss but happy to get something back… finally!

Topcashback sucks. After waiting 7 months for the claim they are just saying sorry claim rejected. No reasoning, no trying to find out what happened, no care for customers. Their whole business model is to show higher cb than competitors and then just make up the difference by rejecting few claims. Tried to reach out Dominique and they didn’t reply either.

Now they raised up price to $79.99 from $49.99, just a headup. This will makes no profit, even be out of pocket some.

Some people prefer quantity over quality, but you can also buy individual bottles that are much more highly rated than what you get in the 6-pack (or whatever quantity the subscription comes in).

Shipping is $19.99. Depending on your state taxes, you’re looking for bottles in the $19 to $21 range.

Thanks for the info. I bought one 12 bottle , plus two bottle and glasses for $50 earlier, now there ‘s no this price option. I haven tried them yet, as I am still dring the wines from WSJ and bright cellars. Are you sure these $80 box is higher quality wines than the $50 box? I know higher quality wines are more expensive and tastes better. I am heavy drinker, so cannot afford for better wines, LOL.

So all of my Laithwaites and WSJ orders shipped next-day except for one of them, which shipped maybe 4-5 days later and ended up being the wrong bottle.

However, it’s the same type of wine from the same region, and slightly more expensive than what I ordered ($6). I think that means they were out of stock of what I originally ordered and did a substitution?

Perhaps they should have communicated/confirmed that in case of a picky customer, but I have to say I’m pleased. I can’t say I’m going to turn into a long-term customer, but at least they seem like they legitimately want the customer to be happy.

Anyone get Amex $40 to trigger without getting the Amex email saying you qualified ?

I did. Two orders, P1 & P2. Only one got an email, but both were credited.

My Topcashback $31.50 finally changed from “pending” to “payable” today (Nov 10th) for Laithwaites and the WSJWines offer. So I double dipped and got the Amex Offers payout and $31.50 x 2 from TCB. Nice moneymaker and we’ve liked the 3-4 wines we have tried so far (other than a dry white from Portugal bc it’s dry). Of course we are normally drinking Yellow Tail or similar wines, typically $5-7/bottle so definitely not wine connoisseurs.

Justin How did you place the two orders? different Laithwaites accounts? under different names / addresses? I already ordered once.

Btw, my purchase through TCB did not track, probably because the checkout page insisted on reloading itself once I entered my zip code to have me select my state again (even though it was already selected).

My bad, I though you meant that by “$31.50 x 2 from TCB”

When did you place your order? I made mine on Oct 1 and it still shows pending.

I already got $40 from Amex for first order, the tracking email hit my inbox instantly after order place. I waited more than a month to place the second order, but this time, no tracking rmail from Amex and it has been hours. This Amex offer can be used twice. Anyone who have done two orders, please let me know if you got the credit for both? If so, how long it takes for the second order to be credited? Thanks.

Ordered the wines on 9/29, 6 bottles for $50. Used Amex and got $40 back. Went through TCB, was pending and today the $31 was made payable. So about $20 money maker. I’m quite pleased since the wines were nothing special.

“We apologize that we are unable to fulfill your recent order as our records indicate that your household has previously enrolled in a wine club.

Our introductory offers are designed to give new customers a taste of the wines and service they can expect from the wine club and are limited to one per household. Since you already have a membership in the wine club and the case that you’ve just ordered is an introductory offer, we have canceled the order.

If you have recently ended your wine club membership and would like to begin receiving quarterly wine shipments again, we would be happy to reinstate it for you. Please remember you can make changes to your wine selection, or to the delivery dates, either online or by phone.

If you were looking for some of the wines you previously enjoyed in your introductory case, they may still be available to buy. If your intention was to explore new wines, we have many other great offers available at http://www.laithwaites.com. If you prefer, one of our Wine Advisors would be more than happy to help you select some wines.”

TCB didn’t track. I should have cancelled the order before it shipped out, because it’s turning out to be a PITA to get my cashback money.
Ordered on Sept 27..

Their response on Oct 25:
Your claim is currently at the ‘Ready to Submit’ Status, please be aware that we submit claims in batches every few weeks to the merchant network that we work via and you will receive a message informing you when yours has been sent. We then have to wait for a response from the merchant network, this may take 2 – 3 months, but we will write to you on this claims thread when we have any updates.
(blah blah blah)
