There are many Wyndhams worth staying at. They have 9300 properties in 95 countries. So even if the vast majority of Wyndhams are not “fancy,” there are at least several hundred that would be OK for even the snobbiest among us. The ones participating in this promo are certainly among them. Personally, I would try to game their loyalty program before settling for this 20% discount on paid rates, but to each his own. Vacassa does not work for this, but a 20% discount off Vacasa rates wouldn’t be so great anyway.
