- Excludes gift card purchases.
- Not valid for online retail purchases, hotel amenities, or purchases of Marriott Bonvoy® points.
- Qualifying purchase means a purchase at a participating Marriott Bonvoy® property made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount totaling at least $300 USD as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Cardmember Agreement.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
- Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
Our Verdict
Nice savings here. In the past, purchasing a Marriott gift card at the front desk has worked to trigger the AmEx Offer credit (despite the terms). You can save both the $60 version and the 20% version if you have them both.

I’ve Marriott Titanium status but wasn’t targeted for any offer on my 6 personal credit cards & 2 charge cards

Correction: it is still there, but on a different card. Two Marriott offers!
I added this offer to my Biz Plat, but now it’s disappeared from my card with a new one only available on my BCE for $60 back on $300. 3/31 expiration.

Wow. I was targeted on every Amex card (after I recently stayed there… dang it!). Also, tht 20% (upto $50) spend offer can do some good with food and beverages!… LOL
