- Receive 5x points on every purchase outside their brands
- Receive 100 points every day you use your card outside their brands
The Fine Print
- Valid November 1st until December 31st, 2016
- Allow two billing cycles for points to post
- No cap on points earned
Our Verdict
These points can be redeemed for Gap merchandise (or similar at the other stores) and one point = one penny  These gift cards can be resold for 74% of facevalue. These cards are issued by Synchrony (shopping cart trick doesn’t work, unlike Comenity cards).
If anybody has this card, it would be great to know what promos you’ve received in the last two years on it. Might be worth picking up (last year they had 10x on some good categories with no cap as well). If you’re looking for some easy ways to get a purchase every day, this post might be of help.

Not possible to check anywhere, just need to have received the targeted communication from what I understand.
Is there a roundabout way to convert these points into gift cards (or otherwise monetize them)?
I got the offer too. This is a great no annual fee card to keep around. Especially since our family shops at Banana/Gap/Gap Outlet.
One correction though: To my knowledge, the points are not redeemable for gift cards. They redeem for basically “merchandise credits”. You have to use your Banana card when redeeming these credits in the store. One plus side is that since these are merchandise credits, it lowers the amount of sales tax you have to pay.
A few weeks ago, I paid like $0.50 in sales tax on a $75 order by using these credits.

I get promos constantly, including this one except the period was 9/1-10/31. Sometimes I just need to make one off-brand purchase to get a $10 reward. Yes, it’s not uncommon to get a 10x, but sometimes they overlap with a better quarterly 5x category. Basically if you don’t like the current promo, a better one is likely to your mailbox soon. You can also expect a $10 reward during your birth month. Surprisingly valuable no annual fee card, if even just to get a bunch of free socks or t-shirts!
Last month I received the promo of getting $20 rewards after making 2 purchases. Today I received the promo of 200 points per purchase with 5000 ($50) point limit.
I have received promos of at least $150-$200 for the last one year. Good free card to keep in the socks and bring out sometime.
I had this offer on my GAP card in September-October. Works best to charge a petty Seamless overage to.
