[Targeted] Bank of America 65,000 Alaska Airlines Offer

The Offer

No direct link to offer, sent out via snail mail

  • Bank of America is offering a bonus of up to 65,000 Alaska miles on the Alaska Airlines personal card. Bonus is broken down as follows:
    • 40,000 bonus miles after spending $2,000 within the first three months
    • 25,000 bonus miles after spending $8,000 or more within the first six months

Card Details

Our Verdict

We saw an extremely similar e-mail offer, but that required $9,000 in spend within the first six months instead of $8,000. Before applying for this or any other Bank of America card, I’d recommend reading this post detailing everything you should know about their credit cards.

Any idea how long this offer is available for? I am currently 4/24, waiting to get another CIP. Hoping this offer sticks around long enough that I can get the CIP then this.

Interesting, I wonder if this may become publicly available next year and or also have the same effect on the business card next year?

If I request to be matched to this offer, would they probably remove the statement credit from the offer I applied for since this offer has no statement credit?

If I have 2 new cc on my CR in this past year, it’s pointless to apply?

Need more info than that – how many in the last two years, and depending on your state, how many INQ’s from Experian.

Was approved for the 40,000 offer on November 29th. Called to inquire about being bumped to the 65,000 offer. CSR’s were extremely helpful; however they eventually determined the offer was for California residents only. Never hurts to ask!
