Our Verdict
This is a nice online bonus. The fine print make this offer sound targeted, though maybe anyone who chanced on the webpage is called the “addressee”? We have to see how this plays out.
I’d guess the 24-month rule in the fine print is only for business bonuses, not personal bank bonuses, though we haven’t confirmed that. This is not a public bonus so we won’t be adding this to our best checking bonuses.

did any one receive 1099-int form for US bank business account?
Thank you! I did not receive it, and called US bank and they said there is no 1099 for me in 2022.
Did this back in May. All Ally pushes. The $500 bonus posted a week ago. Had totally given up
I was denied the bonus despite being targeted (and CFPB complaint x2) because apparently paying my bills isn’t actually a “bill pay” as a qualifying transaction. (I hope this sounds as nonsensical to you as it does to me). The response was that paying bills from the website is considered “online and web payments” and as such does not qualify as a promotional transaction. It’s total BS and quite frankly insulting (literally selecting “Bill Payments” and “Pay Bills” on the desktop website apparently isn’t a “Bill Pay” that will trigger the promotion, according to them).
I’m cautious with US Bank. Too many DPs of denial of bonuses for odd reasons. Did 5 debit card transactions and 5 ACH credits to be safe. P2 was targeted and had a biz card with them. No deposit accounts before this.
Gave up on this one. Was not targeted and even though I had the offer screenshots from when I signed up, they wouldn’t budge without a mailer or proof that as an individual I was targeted. Taking the L and will perhaps come back in a couple years for one of the public offers, just bad timing on my part especially with the public offers that are now available.

– $5k Funded and 5x transactions on 5/31
U.S. Bank told me there was no record of the offer attached to my account. I’m pretty meticulous when signing up, so I doubt human error was involved here.
I provided the promo code again and they are doing a manual review that will take 3-4 weeks to see if they will award me the points. Hopefully they will waive my AF on the card hitting on 9/10…ugh.
What’s unfortunate for all of us who tried (and failed) to get this bonus is that we probably won’t be eligible for a business checking bonus again for 24 months (after closing this account) unless they change their terms. So the pain is worse than just not getting the bonus. Bummer
