If you did the $150 US Bank checking bonus and subsequently opened an US Bank credit card, you’ll probably see a $50 statement credit on the card.
There was a nice US Bank checking bonus this past summer which offered $150 for opening a checking account. There was an added $50 bonus for subsequently applying for a US Bank credit card.
Initially, we thought that so long as you apply for any of the eligible credit cards (including Flexperks and Cash+), you’d be eligible for the $50 bonus. This was nice timing since US Bank also offered an increased Olympics bonus this summer on their Flexperks cards.
Readers pointed out that the terms mentioned that the $50 offer can’t be combined with other offers, so we weren’t sure if it would stack with a credit card signup bonus.
While the $150 bonus came through back in October, there was no sighting of the $50 bonus.
Now many people are seeing a $50 statement credit on their new US Bank credit cards as the bonus is finally coming through. Nice!
