The Offers
Looks like American Express has recently begun targeting more (and new) people for the following offers when you check if you’ve got any pre-approved offers for them:
- American Express Platinum: 100,000 Membership Rewards points after $3,000 in spend within the first three months
- AmEx EveryDay Preferred: 30,000 Membership Rewards points after $2,000 in spend within the first three months
- Premier Rewards Gold American Express: 50,000 Membership Rewards points after $1,000 in spend within the first three months

Getting The Offers
There are two ways you might be able to find these offers:
- Use the American Express pre-approved checker on the American Express website
- Check CardMatch (this shows you cards from other issuers as well, most bloggers will suggest just using this as cards from there will pay a commission but American Express cards don’t always show – we don’t use CardMatch affiliate links)
It seems most people being targeted don’t have any American Express cards, but some reports of those with lots of cards being targeted as well.
Our Verdict
Keep in mind it’s only possible to get the sign up bonus on each personal American Express card once per lifetime. The 100,000 Platinum offer becomes available on a semi regularly basis and there have been targeted offers for 150,000, with how popular the Platinum card is due to lounge access and the $200 airline incidental credit I doubt we’ll see a public 150,000 point offer but it’s worth mentioning.
Obviously not everybody will receive these offers, but let me know your results in the comments.

Found BRG 50k, PRG 50k, and EDP 30k in Edge browser inprivate. Couldn’t find on chrome.
I got the 100k Platinum to pop up using my wife’s details – nothing using mine. Wondering whether it will credit me the 100k if I apply using the link in her offer…

I got a 75K Platinum offer with $15K Spend
I have not been able to get the 50 gold offer to come up incognito for my wife the last few months…was able to get it anytime before that with a few tries…any ideas?

Even tried chrome, internet explorer and downloaded firefox…all incognito…thought it may help but no dice!
That is what I have been doing. Was able to get it incognito easily in the past…signed up for it myself. It was there when I got the $200 blue cash card offer for her a few months back and now I have tried incognito 100 plus times on 2 different computers to get it back up and no luck! Should have done it with the blue cash card last time. Maybe try it on someone else’s computer?

I was seeing $150 on $500 for BCE and $250 for $1000 on BCP (not through prequal). All the cards had much better offers than the prequals listed above. I wanted an AMEX because I was buying some electronics and their warranty protection is excellent.
I had to go through a VPN to see the offer, though. Tor browser worked after changing end nodes to US and restarting the application each time I didn’t see the offer.
Also seeing $250 after $1k spend for Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express!
and 15k points on the regular personal Gold (not PRG) charge card from American Express, tho this has recently been higher.
My wife got an email from Amex that she was pre-approved with Premier Rewards Gold American Express: 50,000 Membership Rewards points after $1,000 in spend within the first three months at the middle of December 2015. She applied and got approved immediately. She also got $100 statement rebate 2 days after she purchased $100 aa gift card on December 30.
