Our Verdict
We saw this same bonus being offered in branch earlier this year. The standard bonus on this card is $150 + $25. I have no idea how they decide who is qualified for this offer and who isn’t as I’ve heard reports of people with Chase Private Client status getting the offer, but I’ve also heard of people without getting it. If you’ve applied for the card in branch in the last 90 days it’s worth asking to see if they will match you to this bonus. If you’re going in branch for the $300 checking & $200 savings bonus it might be worth asking for any pre-qualified offers as these bypass the 5/24 rule and maybe you’ll get targeted for this offer as well. I wonder if this means that the 70,00 Chase Sapphire Preferred offer is also making a come back.
