The Offer
- Chase is offering some cardholders spending bonuses. The offers can be done in October, November & December (once per month)
- A bonus of 1,000 points when they spend $1,000
- A bonus of 2,000 points when they spend $2,000.
Our Verdict
Seems to be on IHG, Southwest & Hyatt cards. Offers are obviously more exciting on the Southwest/Hyatt cards than IHG.
2 SW and 1 Marriott. 1/3 – Southwest….1K points for $1,000 spend each month through Dec.
Got offers on BA and IHG, but not WoH.
BA: spend $5,000 in last quarter of 2021, get 15,000 Avios
IHG x 2: Spend $1,000 each month, get 1,000 bonus points (so max of 3,000 points)

I tried the link in my account but it didn’t work, probably because I do not have a SWA CC.
If you’re going to spend the money anyway, great. $1,000 points comes to $12.50 when applied toward travel.
That valuation greatly depends on the card you are using. YMMV.
It’s in the neighborhood for Hyatt/SW (and IHG would be even lower). Even if you have a different valuation, your estimated value likely won’t differ by more than a couple bucks from what he said.
For me, all these offers are a hard pass.
