Update 2/20/19: American Express Bonvoy Business is now also available via referral. Hat tip to DDG and all of the readers who sent it in.
It’s now possible to refer people to the American Express Bonvoy Brilliant card, the sign up bonus is 100,000 points $5,000 in spend within the first three months. Remember that you can self refer and get another 20,000 points as well. Because you can self refer, I don’t think many people will be looking for referral links so please do not post your referrals in the comments below (let’s keep the comments for discussing the deal). Also remember that American Express sends out 1099-MISC forms for referrals now as well.
By the way it is still not possible to refer from personal SPG to to Marriott Biz. Only shows up when referred from other Amex card. I just tried and personal referral only shows Brillaint.
Now if they only made the spend $3000 like it was before the design change….I don’t know what to spend 5K on….

If you have your old SPG Biz referral link, it will now redirect to the rebranded Marriott Bonvoy Business card, with a fresh new link. The offer is 75K / $3K spend / 3 months. $125 AF, but if application received before 03/28/19, $0 intro annual fee for the first year, then $95. A snippet of the new link:

When I tried to generate a new link, the Marriott business card was not an option to refer from.
interestingly enough, biz card referrals were pulled the day bonvoy launched. i decided to send a referral to myself from p2 as even tho i previously had the card and not bonus eligible, i’m a (former) spg loyalist and wanted to lock in the annual cert at $95
Now I see business referrals available again but still not under the list? Is everyone else seeing this?
I remember there were issues with folks self referring themselves and it was adviced as a risk not getting anything including sign up bonus on the new card. Is that something we don’t need to worry about anymore? Or maybe just this card?

But it would still be bad for the long term lol.
Current DP’s show referral bonus will post normally with self-refer. I feel the problem is RAT has the tendency to retroactively make adjustments and claw backs, making this a potential risk. I think that’s what people were afraid of. Personally I don’t do self-referral. Just do family-referral or exchange with a friend for the peace of mind.
F**K AMEX TO HELL. RAT BASTARD TEAM randomly froze both SPG and Hilton for no apparent reason. All legit purchases yet FROZEN for over a month and half. I’m now 100% done with this joke of a company. They penalize EVERYONE in a GUILTY TIL PROVEN INNOCENT BULLSH*T

sorry youre so unlucky, if anyone was going to get shut down it should have been me. ive been abusing the fk out of amex for years soley for the sign up bonus. Im amazed i havent experienced issues before. my theory is they know but let it slide since i always pay in full almost immediately after purchase.
