Our Verdict
Previous transfer bonuses for Marriott have been:
- March 15 – June 15, 2021: 40% transfer bonus
- December 1 – December 31, 2020: 30% transfer bonus
- September 1 – October 31, 2020: 40% transfer bonus
- June 10th – unknown end date, 2019: 50% transfer bonus (YMMV)
Even when the transfer bonus is 40-50% it’s not worth doing as Membership Rewards are so much more valuable.
Need some Korean Air miles. I think I’ll do Amex > Marriott > Korean Air.
Transferring to Hilton at 2.6 such a better deal.
Was I dreaming or did amex just have a 2:3 standard transfer for Marriot?
